On the go
Another work in progress.
Roma Patchwork & Crafters Inc have been approached by the organisers of the annual mayoral Breakfast to provide table centres for this year's event. So we are trying to make 25 runners or creative centres for the breakfast tables. This is the top of my 1st runner. Just need to quilt & bind and create a few more. Hopefully someone thinks it is cute enough to want to take it home.

A Quick crafting Fix
What do you get when you take this cute & fluffy wool from Crazy Clarkes & a couple of needles and a desire to see just what it knits up like??
NO - Actually you throw on a pair of bamboo handles from the local (AMAZINGLY SCARY & WELL STOCKED PROVIDER OF EVERYTHING) shop and create a very cute and highly sought after bag - I had 10 different offers to buy my bag today (Yes just in one day) - YEAH!! I wish I had offers like that for the things I want to sell. I love it. It is big enough to hold my wallet, phone, keys & glasses - just what I need.
So this bag is another finished project - I love blogging them, at least it keeps me on track & I know what I have made.
And - it only took me 2 days. I had to remember how to knit & cast off!!

Birthday Gifts - done (tick)
Well a couple more projects done & dusted. These delightful 'shaggy' bags are the last of a series I created prior to Christmas. I had made my bag (front right) and had to give it away so determined I needed to make myself another I set to work. The fabrics are the same as the original but a different design.
The green elephant bag is big enough to hold a quilting project & I loved the retro elephant fabric. (Very cute).
the tiny bag is a birthday present for a precious 2 year old friend who tries to steal the bag her mum received for Christmas.
